Section Control Agent

Section Control Agent

Section Control is a feature that manages the queue to maintain a constant number of limited inflow in specific sections of the application.

It is recommended to control traffic through Section Control segments when a clear traffic surge URL is not identified or a traffic surge is expected in the connected sections within the site.

💡

Dynamic control is currently only applied in Basic Control. To implement Section Control, you must apply the NetFUNNEL-specific functions provided by the static agent (a kind of SDK) at the starting and ending logic points within the application code.

How to Create Section Control Segments

Step 1. Click the Create Segment Button

Click the Create Segment button on the right sidebar, and the following screen will appear.

Limited Inflow refers to the number of customers that can simultaneously access the section. It is recommended to set this to about 50% of the maximum capacity considering server capacity.
